We are seeking an independent Freelance Administrator or Virtual Assistant to provide seasonal booking support on an as-needed basis. This is an ideal contract for someone with experience in the tourism industry who thrives on ensuring every detail is accounted for. You’ll be responsible for managing bookings, coordinating with accommodation, hospitality and transport providers and helping us deliver seamless and memorable experiences for our clients (cyclists).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest List Management: Maintain and update guest lists using Excel, ensuring all details are accurate, including contact information, payment status and special requirements.
  • Accommodation & Vehicle Bookings: Coordinate and confirm accommodations and vehicle hire for each tour, adjusting as necessary and confirming all arrangements before the tour begins.
  • Additional Administrative Duties: Add new clients to our Mailchimp list for future communications and escalate inquiries to the owner as needed.

About You:

  • Tourism Booking Experience: Proven experience in booking group accommodations and arranging hire vehicles.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
  • Flexible and Adaptable: Able to manage your time effectively.
  • Hardware: BYO computer and mobile phone.

Driver – Multi-Day Cycle Tours

The Role:
We are looking to establish relationships with independent, on-call shuttle operators or freelance drivers to join our preferred contractor list. Engagements are ad-hoc and intermittent, typically ranging from 2 to 14 days based on your availability.

As a driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting our guests and their bikes, providing support along the way, and ensuring their safety and comfort. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and is confident in handling vehicles and trailers. Generally the vehicles are smaller 12 passenger Ford Transit or Mercedes Sprinters. Some driving on gravel is required.

This role is perfect as a flexible part time job for someone who knows bikes and wants to help keep our fleet in top-tier condition. You will be responsible for detailing the bikes after tours, conducting basic safety checks, and spotting mechanical faults before the bikes head back out on the trail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fleet Cleaning & Detailing: Thoroughly wash, degrease, and clean e-bikes and standard mountain bikes returning from multi-day tours.
  • Pre-Ride Safety Checks: Run through our safety checklist—checking tire pressures, brake pad wear, chain lubrication, and ensuring components are secure.
  • Fault Identification: Inspect frames and components to spot and log faults (such as frayed cables, wheel buckles, or shifting issues) so they can be escalated for professional servicing.
  • Minor Adjustments: Handle basic, minor tweaks such as adjusting seat heights, tightening loose bolts, and replacing basic accessories as needed.

Essential Requirements:

  • Mechanically Minded: Practical, hands-on experience with bicycles. You don’t need to be a fully qualified mechanic, but you must know your way around a bike.
