This page is only for Kopiko Aotearoa brevet riders or groups of 8 and above.
It is not for one person, outside the brevet dates.

Drive or fly to our Rotorua base. Leave your car or bike box at our secure base under security cameras. Pop your bike on our purpose-built bike trailer and jump in the Ford Transit shuttle van. Head out to East Cape for the start.

Date: Friday 23rd Oct 2026 going out to East Cape. Departing 10:30am.

Leaving your car in Rotorua gives you the option to leave food, clean clothes, parts or spares halfway through the Kōpiko Aotearoa course.

Drive time: there 4:40 hours
Drop off: East Cape Campground, 6 kms to East Cape Lighthouse
Departs from and returns to: Hamurana (near the Springs), northern side of Lake Rotorua
